Mezzo-soprano and arts administrator Natasha Naik is a multifaceted and dynamic performer noted for the vocal warmth heard throughout her range. A passionate and committed storyteller, notable roles include Scribe/Maria Maddelena in Galileo Galilei (University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory MainStage), Dorabella in Così fan tutte (University of Oklahoma), Mercédès in Carmen (University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory French Opera Gala), Mezzo-soprano/Detective 3 in Murder at the Opera (Cimarron Opera Company) and Queen of the Fairies in Iolanthe (Cimarron Opera Company). Outside of opera Natasha has performed in  educational outreach tours, musical theatre, and Shakespeare. Though equally comfortable in dramatic and comedic roles, comedy will always hold a special place in her heart, as she first developed her taste for opera while performing in the works of Gilbert and Sullivan at Cimarron Opera Company.

Natasha serves as the Interim Executive Director of Cimarron, where she has worked as a performer, stage manager/props artist, and camp counselor, in addition to her administrative work. Naik holds a Master of Music from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Music (summa cum laude) from the University of Oklahoma.
