The CSI Experience
We’re not your typical concert series.
Let us transport you around the world through different cultures, languages, and musical styles. Join us as we explore the influences that inspired songs from hundreds of years ago, decades ago, and the ones that inspire songs today.
At this classical music experience, we won’t shush you for making noise. We hope you’ll come before the concert to gather with old friends and make new ones. And we especially hope you’ll stay after the concert to meet the artists, enjoy a drink, and continue connecting with people there for the same reasons you are: to be part of a community.
CSI proudly partners with Cincinnati Public Radio to broadcast its Mainstage concerts live on 90.9 WGUC. That means you can enjoy the live studio audience experience by joining us in person!
Below are a few helpful tips to ensure a great experience as a live studio audience member:
Audience members must be arrived and seated 15 minutes before the advertised start of the concert. Latecomers may be seated at the discretion of CSI and Cincinnati Public Radio staff.
Get ready to enjoy a unique experience as we’re guided by an on-stage host who provides interesting insights before each group of songs.
Yes, you can clap! Even though the concert will be live on the radio, our on-air host will explain that the broadcast includes you - a live studio audience - and that we’ll be applauding to celebrate the wonderful artists and their performances like at any concert.
Please note that audio and video recording may take place during the concert.
As a courtesy to performers and fellow audience members, please turn off all cell phones before the concert begins.
