Praised for her “effortless” playing (Daily Camera, Boulder), pianist Christina Lalog Seal balances a career as a parent, performing artist, published musician, and pedagogue.   A few collaborative highlights include live broadcasts on Wisconsin Public Radio, performances with the acclaimed Mark Morris production of Britten’s Curlew River, and recitals with the Cincinnati Song Initiative. She has presented at the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy and International Congress of Voice Teachers.  A varied musician, Christina prepared the keyboard reductions for Handel’s Messiah: The Solo Variants with critical commentary by Chester Alwes. 

Dr. Seal enjoys being on the piano faculty at Northern Kentucky University and is also the Assistant Music Director at St. Thomas Parish (Ft. Thomas, KY).  Christina’s studies include degrees from Stetson University, Eastman School of Music, a Post-Graduate Fellowship at Bard Conservatory, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano at the University of Colorado-Boulder.
